The Love Dojo is a concept album. It could be considered a manifesto of destinations around the world by a less than worldly traveller. The music is based around the concept of 1950's Exotica albums, which was interpretations of what music would sound like in the South Pacific or some far off destination. This album is partly an ode to the fun, and free spirited concept albums of the 50's and 60's, as well as Bossa Nova, Samba, Hawaiian, and Experimental synth music of the time. These original songs were written and redesigned to a more contemporary sound.
